The DACaM Case Trimmer and Cutter is designed to be used with Lee Case Length Gauges and Shellholders (must be purchased separately). This handy tool is made from hardened steel and fully gun blued, trimming cases to correct SAMMI specifications has never been easier and quicker! This trimmer has been specifically designed to work with the Lee Case Length Gauges, shell holders, and Lock stud (lock stud included with purchase!). This trimmer shaft is specifically designed to be directly screwed into any power case prep center station that will accept a 8-32" thread!
These trimmer shafts are proudly made here in the USA on precision machining equipment and are fully gun blued for long life and great looks!
This trimmer will trim from .17 caliber up to .45 Long Colt brass cases.
The trimmer shaft itself allows for 2 modes of operation.
1) The shaft itself has been turned to 1/4 inch in diameter and is made specifically to fit in any electric drill that you may own.
- place the trimmer itself into the chuck of your favorite drill,
- screw on the correct Lee brand Case Length gauge,
- lock your brass case into the proper shell holder and
- trim your case to the proper length for reloading!
2) The best way to use this trimmer is the second way! The trimmer shaft comes with a 8-32" threaded stud that fits into the bottom of the trimmer using the included hex wrench.
This stud has 8-32" threads on it and will fit any power case prep station on the market. Such as the Hornady Case Prep center, the RCBS trim mate case prep center, the Lyman case prep Xpress, and any other power prep center that accepts 8-32" accessories!
To use the DACaM trimmer with your name brand power case prep center:
- simply screw in the stainless steel stud using the included hex wrench until finger tight
- screw the trimmer onto your power case prep center
- attach the proper LEE Brand Case Length Gauge
- trim your case to the proper length for reloading!
